Well, well.

Look who caved and got a blog? Although I've been blabbing my thoughts over here for over a year, I finally decided to create a blog that peers into my life with Matt a bit more. Although I do love writing and sharing poorly taken pictures with the general public, it's mostly happening because my sister, Ashby, is moving to Kenya in a couple months and we won't be able to call each other three times a day anymore.
 
Another reason to be keeping this blog is because California has changed from a short-term home for us to probably a long-term home. Matt is currently in the midst of a career advancement, making it possible for us to afford the sunshine. We are sad to be away from our families, but God has placed us in the midst of an amazing church plant in the Ventura area and we just can't resist sticking around to see what's going to happen. We're surrounded by wonderful, loving, attentive people who have quickly become like family to us.

So, we're taking off our coats, setting down our bags and staying awhile.
